I'm 25 years old. I am the second son of late Mr. Vijay Sasnur. My older brother Santosh lives with his wife Smita and our mother Vidyullata Sasnur in Bangalore, India.

I have varied interests: tennis, golf, computers, techno/trance/rave music and of course cooking. A single desi in the US needs to know how to cook.

I currently work for Nortel Networks in Richardson, Texas. I live a few miles north of work in Plano. Lucky for me, one of my good friends' Vishruth Madhav is my roommate. We go a long way back. We went to school together for our undergraduation in Computer Science and Engineering at RV College of Engineering in Bangalore

For the most part, I grew up in Bangalore. I went to National Public School in Indiranagar. I also spent 4 years in between in Mumbai.

After that I went to St. Joseph's Arts and Science College where I did my PUC. Following this I studied Engineering in RV College of Engineering before coming to the US to do master's in Computer Science at Arizona State University.

At Nortel Networks, my job is to write computer programs that route cell phone calls. Its very interesting and very complicated. I hate it when people at work say "what we do is not really rocket science" because what we do at Nortel is probably as complex if not more complex than rocket science.
